Project creation and project management

Yes. You can delete a project while it is still in Drafts. Open the project and tap Discard. Once a video has been created or posted, the project is not deleted from the app in the same way.
There is no self-service recovery button at the moment. Contact [email protected] as soon as possible with as much detail as you can. In some cases support may be able to recover a deleted draft, but this is not guaranteed.
Yes, if the project is still in Drafts. Open the project from Drafts, tap to resume setup, and change the project name.
Yes. You can have multiple projects in progress at the same time.
There is no set limit on the number of projects you can keep in your account. Your monthly plan or credits control how many videos you can produce.
Yes. Tap the back arrow at the top left of the project screen. Your unfinished project will stay in Drafts.
Yes. Frame saves the items you add as you work, including photos, typed notes, audio clips, influencer choice, voice-only setting, review setting, and other setup choices.
Open the Drafts tab. Unfinished projects are stored there.
After you tap Publish Project, Frame creates the video. You can check the Jobs Done tab, and if notifications are enabled you will receive a phone notification when the video is ready.
No. Once you tap Publish Project, Frame will create the video.
Yes. You can log in to the same Frame account from more than one device.
Yes. Frame can be used on a computer as well as on a phone. The layout may look different on desktop, but the core functions are the same.

Project status, review and posting

Publish Project tells Frame to create the finished video from your photos, notes, and settings. If Review Post is switched on, the video will be held for your approval before it is posted to social media.
Yes. Switch Review Post on before you publish the project. Frame will create the video and hold it for you to review before posting.
Switch Review Post on before you publish the project. The finished video will be created but will not be posted until you approve it.
Yes. Keep Review Post switched on.
Yes. Switch Review Post off if you want Frame to post without manual approval.
Go to Jobs Done and look for projects marked as in review. Open the project and use the post button when you are ready to post it.
‘Generating’ means Frame is still creating the video. ‘In review’ means the video has been created but has not been posted yet. ‘Posted’ means the project has been released for posting to the connected social accounts.
Not at the moment. Frame does not currently include a calendar or scheduling tool for choosing a specific date and time.

Published projects

Open the Jobs Done tab in the Frame app. You can also check the social media pages connected to your business.
Yes. Go to Jobs Done, open the project, and tap Download Video.
Yes. Open the finished project and copy the post text from there.
Not directly from the existing project at the moment. To create a new version, start a new project and add the photos and notes you want to use.
No. Frame does not delete posts already published on your social media accounts. To remove a live post, go to the social network and delete or hide it there.

Visibility and performance

Use the normal tools inside your social media accounts: share the post, ask people to engage with it, post consistently, and boost or promote the post where the platform allows it.
Open the video on the social media platform where it was posted. Each network shows views, likes, comments, and shares in its own way.
Yes, but boosting is done inside your social media account, not inside Frame.
Yes. Frame creates post text to go with the video and optimises it for the social networks you use.
Yes. Frame adds hashtags to the post text.
Not at the moment. You manage comments inside your own social media accounts.

Photos and project media

Yes, while the project is still in Drafts. Tap the delete icon on the image you want to remove.
Yes, while the project is still in Drafts. Tap Replace on the photo you want to change.
Yes. Frame supports projects with multiple photos.
Yes, where the project type supports multiple stages or timeline-style ordering, you can move photos into the order you want before publishing.
Yes. In the multi-stage project flow, notes or audio can be associated with individual stages of the project.
Yes, but landscape photos are recommended. If you use a portrait or differently shaped image, Frame will expand or outpaint the image so it fits the video format.
Not at the moment. Frame currently uses photos, typed notes, and audio notes to create videos.
Frame stores the image for use in the project. Depending on your device, it may also appear in your phone’s photo gallery.

Notes, script and voiceover

Yes. You can add audio notes by speaking into the app.
Yes. You can type notes instead of recording them.
Yes. You can use both in the same project.
Yes. You can add, delete, or replace audio clips and text notes while the project is in Drafts.
Yes, while the project is still in Drafts. You can edit typed notes and delete or replace voice notes before publishing the project.
Yes, while the project is still in Drafts.
Your rough notes are not posted. Frame uses them to create a polished short script and voiceover for the finished video.
No. Frame uses your notes as source material and turns them into a polished script for the video.
No. At the moment you cannot directly edit the generated script before the video is created.
There is no one-tap regenerate option at the moment. To get a different result, create a new project or change the project inputs before creating the video.
No. Your original voice note is used to help Frame understand the job. The finished video uses Frame’s polished voiceover.
Not currently as a standard project option. Frame is designed to turn your notes into a narrated social video.

Influencers and virtual presenters

The influencer provides the voice and, if selected, can appear on camera in the finished video.
Yes. Choose Avatar from the bottom menu and select the influencer you want to use. Influencer and Avatar are the same thing.
The current Frame flow is being kept to one selected influencer at a time so your videos have a consistent spokesperson.
Yes. If the project is still in Drafts and the video has not yet been created, change the selected influencer before you publish the project. This will change the influencer associated with your account going forward.
No. Once the video has been created, the influencer in that video cannot be changed.
Yes. Turn Voice Only on. The video will use the influencer’s voice but will not show the influencer on camera.
Not at the moment. Frame currently uses the selected influencer voice to narrate the finished video.

Branding, canvases and backgrounds

Yes. Use the Canvas area to manage the branded look used for your videos, including the background and business presentation elements available in your account.
Yes. You can create more than one canvas/background so your videos do not all look identical.
When more than one canvas is available, Frame can vary the canvas used so your social feed has more visual variety.
Frame is currently designed as a simple single-user app. For a separate business, division, or brand, set up a separate Frame account.

Multiple businesses, teams and crews

The current Frame app is designed for one user managing one business account. If you have more than one business, each business should have its own Frame account.
Not in the current simple app. A larger team or enterprise version is being considered separately. For now, separate crews or divisions should use separate accounts.
Not in the current simple app. Frame does not currently include team roles or crew-level logins.
Not at the moment. Frame does not currently include admin/basic user permissions.
Not as a team-management feature at the moment. In the current app, the user can switch Review Post on to approve their own videos before posting.
The current app does not provide separate permission levels. If someone has the login, they can use the account.

Social media connections

At present, Frame support helps configure your social media accounts. When you start an account, you will receive an email with a meeting link so support can help set this up.
Frame is intended to support the main business social channels, including Google Business Profile, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and X, depending on what is connected for your account.
You choose which networks are connected during setup. Frame posts to the networks connected to your account. If a network is not connected, Frame cannot post there.
Yes. Frame will post to the social accounts that are connected.
Yes, you can prepare projects, but Frame needs connected social accounts before it can post them.
Contact support. A social account may need to be reconnected if access has expired, been removed, or the social platform requires fresh approval.

Posts already published remain on the social network. Frame does not delete them.

Account, billing and control

Yes. Contact support or use the subscription/payment route provided for your account.
Your projects are not immediately deleted just because you cancel. If you want your data removed, contact support and request deletion.

Yes, but support needs to do this for you. Contact support with the new email address you want to use.
Yes. Go to the login page and tap Forgot Password.
Use the Stripe customer portal link provided with your payment request or invoice to update your payment details.
Stripe sends invoices after payments. You can also use the Stripe customer portal to view and download invoices.
If someone opens a Frame account because you recommended them, you receive one free month of Frame service.
Referral credits are applied to your subscription. In the current process, this may be handled manually by support or billing. When your colleague creates a Frame account they must email [email protected] with your account email address for you to receive credit.
Not at the moment. Frame does not currently include an in-app referral credit screen.

Notifications and support

Yes. If notifications are enabled, Frame can send a phone notification when your video is ready. You can also check Jobs Done.
Not at the moment. Email notification is a possible future improvement, but the current app uses phone notification and the Jobs Done tab.
Yes. Use your phone’s app notification settings to turn Frame notifications off.
You still control your social media accounts. Go to the social network and hide, edit, or delete the post according to that platform’s rules.
If the post is already live, remove or hide it from the social network if needed. If the issue is technical or repeated, contact Frame support.
Contact Frame support with the project name and as much detail as possible.
Check Drafts for unfinished projects and Jobs Done for created videos. If you still cannot find it, contact support.
Yes. Support can help with the Frame connection process for social accounts. You remain responsible for the branding and content on your own social pages.
