Who is responsible for Social Engine: Frame
Social Engine: Frame is operated by DATAFORT Ltd and Newsguru.ai Ltd, trading as Creativeguru (together, “we”, “us”, or “our”). Both are registered in England and Wales and use the registered office at DataFort House, 113 Walnut Tree Close, Guildford, Surrey GU1 4UQ, United Kingdom. This policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, username, password, company details, support correspondence, account settings, and payment information processed by our payment provider. We also collect technical and usage information, such as IP address and approximate location, device and browser information, app version, identifiers, pages and features used, timestamps, and cookie or similar tracking information. We may capture a digital fingerprint across our online services using device characteristics, browser configuration, IP address, and similar technical signals. This information does not by itself identify you by name or contact details. Social Engine: Frame processes content you choose to upload, create, select, approve, schedule, or publish, including photographs, video, audio, text, descriptions, captions, and publishing instructions.
Sensitive information and voice or avatar services
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information, such as health, religion, or biometric identity, and ask that you do not submit it unless it is needed for a service you request. Voice recordings and images or videos of a person’s face may constitute biometric data under UK GDPR. Where Social Engine: Frame provides a voice-cloning, avatar, or synthetic-media service, you must provide your own likeness or have clear documented permission to use another person’s likeness. We obtain explicit consent where required, use that material only to deliver the requested service, and do not use it to train our general AI models unless you separately opt in. You may withdraw consent and request deletion, subject to legal retention requirements.
Connected social accounts
When you connect a social or content-platform account, we receive only the account or channel details, permissions, publishing destinations, OAuth access and refresh tokens, and publishing information needed for the feature you choose to use. For TikTok, this can include your TikTok account identifier, display name, avatar, authorisation tokens, and information about content you ask Social Engine: Frame to publish. We use this information to show the connected account, maintain the authorised connection, and carry out publishing actions you explicitly request. We do not sell connected-account data.
Google, YouTube, and Google Business Profile
When you connect YouTube, Social Engine: Frame may process your Google account identifier and profile information, YouTube channel details, publishing destination, video metadata and status, the videos you select or approve, and OAuth access and refresh tokens. Social Engine: Frame uses this information only to connect your chosen channel, display it in Social Engine: Frame, upload or publish content you select, and report publishing results. Google and YouTube API data is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train our general AI models. You may disconnect YouTube in Social Engine: Frame or revoke access through your Google third-party access settings. We delete associated active YouTube credentials and stored API data as soon as reasonably practicable and no later than seven calendar days, unless retention is required by law. When you connect a Google Business Profile, we process the account, location, and OAuth information needed to show locations you manage and create user-approved Local Posts. Disconnecting a platform does not remove content that has already been published there; you must manage that content through the relevant platform.
How we use information
We use information to create and administer accounts; deliver content-creation and publishing features; authenticate connected accounts; provide support; protect our systems; diagnose errors; improve services; communicate with you; meet legal obligations; and protect our rights and users. We do not use Google, YouTube, or other connected-platform API data for advertising. Voice recordings, images, video, and derived voice or avatar content submitted for a specific service are not used to train our general AI models without separate consent.
Legal bases
Where UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we process information as necessary to perform a contract with you, comply with legal obligations, pursue legitimate interests such as security and service improvement, or with your consent. We obtain explicit consent where required for biometric information, such as a voice sample or facial image used for a voice-cloning or avatar service.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential service functions, performance and analytics, and, where applicable and permitted, advertising or marketing measurement. You can manage non-essential cookies through a consent banner where shown or through your browser settings. Disabling them may reduce some functionality.
Sharing, retention, and international transfers
We may share the minimum necessary information with hosting, storage, payment, analytics, email, security, and support providers acting for us; with platforms you choose to connect; with professional advisers or authorities where required; and in connection with a business transfer. We use appropriate safeguards for international transfers where required. We retain information only for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You can disconnect a social account in Social Engine: Frame; we then remove its active connection credentials and associated data as soon as reasonably practicable, subject to legal retention requirements. Information in protected backups may remain until overwritten in the normal backup cycle, but is isolated from routine processing.
Account deletion and your rights
You can request deletion through the Delete Account option in Social Engine: Frame, where available, or by contacting us. We may ask you to verify your identity. When an account is deleted, Social Engine: Frame disconnects supported third-party accounts and deletes or anonymises associated information and content unless it must be retained for legal, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or enforcement reasons. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability of your personal information. You can withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, object to direct marketing or AI-model training, unsubscribe from marketing communications, and complain to a relevant data-protection authority. UK users may contact the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Security, children, and changes
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including access controls, credential protection, system monitoring, and controls over service providers, to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Social Engine: Frame is not directed to people under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. We may update this policy from time to time and will post the updated version here. California and Canadian residents may have additional rights under applicable law.
